a few weeks back we had a family day to an art fair and tulip festival. it was a great day to enjoy each other and a nice spring day. the weather was good, just a bit windy, the sun came out for a while too. it is a tradition with our family and i love traditions! every year we shop in quaint stores and the best part is they have a great little drug store (with vera bradley purses and pandora jewelry) and it is usually right before mothers day. i show jeff something i would like and then he takes the girls to buy it and i act surprised and everyone is happy. i get something i wanted and it takes the pressure off him the find the perfect gift. i like the arrangement.

I like your shopping arrangement too. My dad had a similar approach for gifts - he told me to buy him something that he didn't have that I would like to borrow some day. A win-win situation. Thanks for sharing the pictures and your tradition.
